Therapy for Women of Color Who Carry It All, and Are Ready to Reclaim Space for Themselves
You’ve spent so much of your life taking care of others, navigating expectations, and holding it all together. At CARE Therapy, you don’t have to do that alone. I specialize in helping women of color slow down, reconnect with their needs, and heal in a space that respects the richness of your cultural identity and welcomes your story, without requiring you to carry the burden of explaining it. Therapy here is more than a service, it’s a space to exhale, reflect, and grow on your terms.
Therapy That Honors Who You Are and Who You’re Becoming
At CARE Therapy, I support women of color who are often holding more than anyone realizes. Many are highly functioning on the outside, but inside they are running on fumes. navigating anxiety, burnout, emotional labor and the exhaustion that comes with doing it all. Whether you're moving through a life transition, struggling in your relationships, or just feel disconnected from yourself, this is a space to be seen, supported, and reminded that you don’t have to keep pushing through alone.
Clients often come to CARE Therapy when they’re:
Feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected.
Struggling to set boundaries without guilt
Carrying the mental load for everyone around them
Navigating life transitions, caregiving, or generational expectations
Managing anxiety or depression
Wanting to reconnect with their identity beyond roles and responsibilities
Tired of being “the strong one” but unsure how to let go

CARE Therapy Approach
Therapy at CARE is both grounding and growth-oriented. It’s a collaborative process that blends evidence-based practices like CBT and ACT with warm, culturally attuned care that honors the fullness of your identity.
Sessions are structured but flexible, grounded in clinical expertise and guided by the goals we set together, your needs, and your lived experiences. While the process is collaborative, I help ensure we’re moving with intention, checking in on progress, and staying aligned with your values, your growth, and the change you're working toward. We explore patterns that are no longer serving you and make space for the parts of you that have been overlooked, dismissed, or silenced. You won’t be asked to minimize your pain, perform resilience, or pretend things are okay.
You’ll be met with curiosity, compassion, and the belief that healing isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about reconnecting with the parts of you that have always known the way forward.

Connection to your therapist is key to successful therapy outcome.
Increased self awareness to recognize existing patterns you can change and feel more in control of your life.
Self-reflection leads to identification of deeper meanings of emotions and increases adoption of tools and strategies that promote wellbeing.
By accepting all parts of yourself, you feel empowered to fully live and be better able to navigate life’s challenges. You embrace an expanded version of yourself and have the courage to live authentically.
CARE therapy helps you to:
Understand the impact your environment (family and social) has had on your sense of self so that you can begin to take responsibility for the aspects you can change.
Develop self-compassion to unshame the needs that were deemed unimportant as you were growing up.
Learn to care for yourself, so that you can continue to care for others without sacrificing your own well-being.
Look at the deeper fears that operate your thoughts, emotions and responses to life situations.
Uncover your natural joy that arises when you undo self-limiting thoughts and behaviors.
Opt out of effortful living and reclaim permission to live with more joy and lightness.
