FAQ
-
CARE Therapy is primarily a self-pay practice. This allows us to work together with flexibility and focus on your needs — without the restrictions insurance often requires.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you may submit for possible reimbursement.
-
Because each client’s needs and goals are unique, we’ll discuss fees during the consultation call. This allows me to answer any questions, explain options for superbills or reimbursement, and make sure therapy feels like a sustainable investment for you.

The first step is scheduling a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us space to explore your needs, answer questions, and see if we’re a good fit.

Therapy here is collaborative, culturally affirming, and guided by goals we set together. Sessions blend evidence-based approaches like CBT and ACT with space for reflection, healing, and reconnection. Clients often describe therapy as both grounding and growth-oriented, a place where they can finally exhale and be fully themselves.

It’s common to worry about starting again after past experiences. At CARE Therapy, the focus is on building a safe, culturally aware relationship where you feel seen and supported. We’ll work at your pace, set clear goals, and check in regularly so therapy feels intentional and meaningful.
-
Every person’s journey is different. Some clients begin noticing changes within a few sessions, while deeper healing can take longer. We’ll regularly revisit your goals to ensure therapy is moving at a pace that feels right for you

Yes. Many of my clients are carrying invisible loads at work, home, or in caregiving roles. In therapy, we’ll create space to acknowledge those burdens, set boundaries, and practice ways of caring for yourself that don’t feel like “just another task.”
